The work that goes into creating a solid game is already overwhelming enough, let alone attempting to release it on several different console versions at once. While this may be a bit disappointing, it's worth noting that this does tend to happen quite a bit when preparing a game for a previous generation, as the specs and quality as well as the coding of the game itself differ monumentally from generation to generation. The developers stated that they are absolutely overwhelmed by gratitude for the response the game has gotten from fans all around the world, but that they don't want the old-gen releases to fall through the cracks and not be as polished as the original release on new-gen consoles. However, its worth noting that the game is already available for Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series XS next-gen consoles. Sadly, today brought the news that old-gen users will need to wait even longer to embark on their journey to become the wizards or witches they always knew they could be. Hogwarts Legacy is set to release on for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One last-gen consoles. There currently are three different editions that Hogwarts Legacy can come in, each with its own bonuses.With that said, those with previous generation consoles haven't been able to experience the game yet as gamers on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S have. A Nintendo Switch version is also confirmed, but is currently without a release date. for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS5, PS4, and PC.
